Traditional Glass School Milk Bottle
Remember school milk in little bottles like these? Sometimes frozen, sometimes cheesy depending on the weather, and sometimes with the top broken open by little birds while it was left outside in it's crate. No food temperature control regulations then! A nostalgic must for anyone who was a school from the 1950's to the 1970's when school milk was stopped.
Use as a vase for little flowers, or add a straw and fill with a drink. A good way to make squash or milk seem more exciting to your little ones. I have just sold some for a dinner party for the pre-dinner drinks to be served in - with red, white and blue straws - a brilliant talking point. When the bottles made their debut at the Red, White and Bluetique pop-up shop nearly every visitor to our shop had a nostalgic tale to tell about school milk in little bottles like these!
